I am Lori,  a Norman OK photographer specializing in Senior & Family photography.

My perfect outfit is a pair of old jeans (preferably
with a couple of rips),a white shirt, black pumps,
pearls, a mans watch and hoop earrings.
I love quotes, color, Audrey Hepburn,
thunderstorms and real pencils.

My philosophy is very simple:
Laugh, dance, have fun, be yourself  Capture the
moment so that one day you can look back and
smile at the memory of the moment in time captured.

When I first spoke with Trey and his mother about
his Senior Session I immediately started planning,
in my head. I knew he was a fun, creative and
unique guy. That he played tennis for Norman North,
loved his church and wanted his Senior Session to

Summer

Sun drenched days and starlit nights…

when laziness finds respectability

days filled with breaking the rules, standing apart,

ignoring your head, and following your heart.

where all the days run into each other

and every day is a saturday night

This gorgeous Senior Session was perfection!

The weather was nice and warm

but we quickly remembered we live in

Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping

down the plain.  Plus she is such a beautiful girl,

both on the inside and the out! We laughed so hard

a couple of times I thought I would cry, but we

pinky swore to never tell what was on my IPOD

I realize that I have actually blogged a few of the outtake

shots in this post

But Miss Brittney deserves the best of the best blogged.

Thank you so so much for such a great time and I hope you

have an amazing last few weeks of your Senior Year at

I think I love shooting Seniors because they are grown up

and pretty responsible … but they haven’t lost that little voice

the little voice that whispers “lets play”

the voice that Brittney used in our last session

when she looked at me and innocently asked me

“can I swing now”

I love the look of memories that cross a young adults face when

they just swing, like they used to do.

the next question should come as no surprise

“can you get one of me jumping”

Yep Brittney Jump away and I will get it.

Different from the 50 other gorgeous shots we got that day

but different in a good way. I love capturing the journey of the

end of one thing to the beginning of a new thing.

Last week’s session with Jackie was a dream!

We laughed – the wind didn’t cause trouble
